Don't Overthink This Blog Post

"Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand." -Psalm 20:6

Okay, so I'm a very analytical person. I love to take things in and use my time to process everything. I'm also very guilty of overthinking the details. What does it mean to "overthink?" Google defines it as thinking about (something) too much or for too long. How many of us here are also guilty?

Currently, this is that state I'm in and I hate it. God has given me a wonderful vision and I sat for hours overthinking how I was going to do it. Overthinking is time and energy we could place in building our faith, or catching up with people we love. Overthinking will birth fear and fear births stagnation. So before you know it, that great idea God gave you to impact the world or your local area is now at a halt because you're afraid.

"Overthinking happens as we grow older and as our curious, child-like brains become jam-packed with rational, concrete knowledge." -Elite Daily

We know what we should be doing and there's a ton of work to do so let's get moving and stop the overthinking!
